Guest guest
Then I did from my neurologist and radiologist! Unfortunately, I live in Montana.......we can boast about a lot of things here -- blue sky, fresh air, wide open spaces.....but doctors are another story. I told my husband I would have had better luck going to the family veterinarian! After spending a few days on the Internet at all these sites and reading emails from a few of the ACM people out there, I have a pretty good grasp on what this syringomyelia is. Now I want to go back down to the doctor's office (he is over 45 miles away from me) and look at those MRI's again. But my husband told me last night that the neck doesn't show much on the MRI's. After reading a few emails from ACM people, he now knows that this could be serious business.......we both bought the neurologist's " diagnosis " of a " drooping cerebellum " that I should just forget about. WHich I did, until I got home and started looking on the Internet the next day for what the terms in the radiologist's report meant. And the terms led me straight to ACM. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. (ONe thing I am learning as well is you HAVE to keep a sense of humor about this whole thing!) Thanks everyone......keep telling me more. I feel like a sponge. I want to soak it ALL in! Donna
