Guest guest
Oh sorry I forgot to say anything on this group??? I am having a biopsy of my lymph nodes for breast cancer. They found some abnormalities in my lymphs so thats what I was talkinga bout. Have a good wone. Anita Re: Check In And the biopsy is for... ???? <g> We've had a nice weekend, and our living room needing new texture and paint is still needing it. LOL My husband and younger son are both up in the mountains right now. It's bow hunting season, for deer. <g> My husband did call Saturday afternoon and let us know they were there safely, as of Friday night, and joked about us coming up the next day. (I found out later he wasn't joking, I just thought he was lol). Then, the other two boys, the two girls, and I all headed up early yesterday morning and surprised the two campers. lol It was a bit warm for a short time, but that didn't last. What a beautiful day! When the kids and I got there, both campers were out. We hoped to *hide* the car, but I figured we'd be unsuccessful. lol Then the guys wanted to *hide* us. They set a walkie-talkie on the camp table, and carried the other two off with us. We waited. As soo as the campers pulled in, they started honking the horn. They saw the car. But the two older boys wanted to stay *hidden*. We did. And used the walkie-talkies, saying such things as "elk call; bugle, bugle, crunch, crunch, heavy footsteps". Yes, wit runs high in older teen boys. ROFL (I shouldn't laugh maybe... it was me they got to say everything into the walkie-talkies lolol). It worked well enough to give lots of laughs though. ) The ferns are still covering the forest floor, mushrooms are everywhere!! The breeze blew through the trees, cooling us and lending that peaceful sound of pines in such a breeze. ) We drove back home last night (it's about an hour and a half drive), and are waiting for the campers to return this afternoon/evening. To a living room without paint on one redone wall for over a year, easily. LOLOL We're waiting "for the right time". And money. LOL Hugs, Challis Just wanted to take a second and check in with you all. I am exhausted after painting on friday, and having a hard time finding my way out of it. My eyesite is also still "bad" but GOOD news is I have a neurology appointment tomorrow at 10:30 and I get new carpeting tomorrow morning! Once I get past the biopsy on Wed. all things shall be looking up again!!! Hope you all have a WONDEFUL upcoming week!
