Guest guest
I will be doing a home visit tomorrow with a 77 yo male with systemic scleroderma. He has severe esophagael stricture from the disease and recently had a G-tube placed. I have not met this client yet so do not know alot about his history or severity of symptoms. He is now getting all his nutrition via tube feeding. He is concerned that because of his illness, he may not be absorbing all of the nutrients from his food. Does anyone have experience working with scleroderma? Any recommendations for alternative therapies? Thank you!
