If so, I would LOVE to hear about them~~I buy them by the case and have them in every room and wherever I go. I highly recommend using earplugs to control what comes into that important space between our ears. I buy them by the case. If you know of a better earplug, let me know! I've been using this brand at least 30 years~~Perhaps someone invented better ones since? (I've also tried that french brand in the white box with the Egyptian motif~~did NOT like those.)

I personally LOVE my Ohropax ear plugs and would not want to live without them

near me ever again. I need to use them on airplanes & public transport also.

At home, when the dogs start barking, I can tune them out by plugging up my

ears. I often have told people who have complained to me about noise that God

must of invented holes in your ears so that you can control what sounds are

coming into them (by putting something in them). I also found that listening to

baroque music on cordless head speakers as I am walking around my house and land

has a very soothing effect.

I know some people have never and will never stick something in their ears.

Luckily, I am not one of them.

I tend to think intensely about whatever I am doing and can't stand to be

disturbed or interrupted by any kind of noise when I am so concentrating. I

don't even like background music when someone comes to visit because I want to

concentrate fully on our conversation. (I know some people always think they

should put on background music, but this bothers me.) And when I have gone to

visit people with the TV on, I ALWAYS ask them to turn it off as I cannot

concentrate on our conversation with someone talking non-stop in the background.

The earplugs do not block all sound but mutes it enough that I can think and

work and create (which is mostly what I do at home). The head phones with music

do block out all other sounds.

Can't wait to experiment with that Bose Noise Cancelling system they are always

advertising.
