Guest guest Posted September 30, 2009 Report Share Posted September 30, 2009 Dear colleagues, togheter with my boothmate I'm preparing an international conference on thoracic surgery and got stuck with a specific term and its translation into Spanish: " Tracheal Sleeve pneumonectomy " seems to be " resección de la carina " , but all throughout the texts we were given, this technique was being compared with pneumonectomy itself, so we got a bit lost. The only terms we found we believe would make a difference is " lobectomia broncoplástica o en manguito " and " resección traqueal en manguito " . Anyone could tell us if we are right, and maybe just drop a couple lines telling us the difference (I hope it is not too much asking for...).
