I'll add that to my list of things to worry about when my kids get older. :-) It's one of those conversations you don't want to mention in front of the media or we'll have copycat kids out poisoning everyone just for kicks! Guest guest Posted February 17, 2000 Report Share Posted February 17, 2000 Eljama, last new years eve my wife (Ann) and me went out to celebrate. Because we don't drink alcohol we tend to get some odd remarks from bar tenders but we are used to it. When I asked for 1 orange and 1 coke the barman asked if I wanted the coke in the bottle. I said no, could I have a glass and thought no more about it. Next morning I remembered this incident and told my 17 year old daughter about it. She gave me one of those looks that teenagers are so good at, the look that says 'Dad, you must be living on a different planet..don't you know anything?'. She explained that it is now common practice to have your drink in it's original bottle so it can't be tampered with. Oh, I said, 'How do you know about such things?'
