Guest guest
Hello all, I just wanted anyone who does not have insurance may be eligible through the new law that passed. If you have Blue Cross/Blue Shield in your state you can go to the HIGH RISK POOL on their website. I'm sure there are others but that was the only one I found. They have a list of what you need and conditions that are covered one of which is Cirrhosis as long as it's Non-alcoholic which sucks for me because I acquired that label. Laennic Cirrhosis is what they call mine. The pool has so many spots available and they may put you on a list to be added as more become available. I haven't quite figured out what to do when you have that term attached to your medical records. I was temporarily taken off the list at Baylor for lack of finding a suitable insurance within 6 months after being laid off. I believe the insurance is in the 300.00 a month range. I believe renal failure is also listed for those with kidney problems. Best of luck to you all and I'm a firm believer in everyone being able to get some decent insurance! Much love, Roni
