Guest guest
I ordered some white beeswax pellets. It smells kind of chemically and old at the same time. Is this normal and will it go away. Should I take it out of it's zip lock bag and hopefully let it air out?

Guest guest
I recently received some smelly beeswax from a trusted supplier. Usually it has little to no smell. But this time it smelled " rancid. " What causes that? Sherry Boester > > >I ordered some white beeswax pellets. It smells kind of chemically > >and old at the same time. Guest guest
Hi Sherry, I had the same experience. I just figured it was old or maybe a product that had been over-processed and then got old. I've noticed that the beeswax that smells like honey doesn't do this. At least it hasn't yet ;o) Not sure if that helps much. Guest guest
I have about 200lbs of beeswax in the basement that I got a year ago. Still smells like honey. I've gotta get my A$$ in gear and use it up! I really prefer non processed honey for everything. If I want it to be lighter, I just strain it a couple of times through cheesecloth.
