Yay Jenn!! Congrats on getting new workouts. You watch, pretty soon, you'll

own them all like the rest of us addicted fans :)

Darcy

And spent $60 on workout DVD's. <blushing>

lol - DH wasn't entire pleased with how much I spent, but I'm to excited to
really worry about it much. I got:

Tae Bo II - Instructional & Basic Workout
Tae Bo II - Basic 1 & Basic 2 Workouts
The Firm - Super Cardio (?)

Last night I watched the Instructional video out of curiosity and was so
amazed at how much better the " instruction " was. I saw about 10 things I
was doing wrong. (and remember I did the instructional video for a week
trying to get the moves down - and still didn't have it right) So this
morning I did the same workout (Tae Bo Basic) but incorporated the
techniques he described in Tae Bo II, and boy oh boy, did I feel the
difference! LOL - I actually got the " burn " today and still feeling it.
This is the first workout where I've really felt like I worked. I'm still
just a bit bummed that it's only a half hour - I should probably rewind it
and do it a second time. LOL!

Anyway just wanted to share. I'm so jazzed for the weekend so I can
actually go through the Tae Bo II Instructional video again and try the Tae
Bo II workouts.

Oh - almost forgot my Firm video. I was going to use my DH's dumb bells

and
ask him to make me a step. I know that they want you to buy their

products,
but after spending this money - there is no way DH will let me spend more.
So I'm really excited to try that - especially since they say you can see
results in 10 workouts. Between that and Tae Bo - I'm feeling like my

goals
are reachable.

And on a last note. I'm feeling so good these days! Walking strait and
holding my head up. Thanks everyone!
Jenn,

I don't have a Firm " Fanny Lifter " step either. I do a lot of the

weight stuff without the step, or I use the steps in my house... my

TV is right near my stairs to the top floor, and I use the bottom

step alot... it works fine... other than being small, but so are my

feet!

I've never done the Firm Cardio Sculpt... I have it on DVD... but I

just figured I'd do Tae Bo for my cardio. I really love the Firm

Upper and Lower Body Sculpt... I do those on a rotating basis. Upper

Body is almost all weights, I use 5, 8 and 10 pound... and 3 pounds

for some parts. The lower body sculpt is HARD! It makes me sweat

profusely. I hate lunges and squats, and that video is 80% lunges

and squats. haha. But, it works.

You can get cheap hand weights at most sporting good stores. I got a

set of 3, 5, and 8 pound hand weights (the metal types) for 13

bucks... at Dick's Sporting Goods. I have a 40 pound York dumbbell

set, that I can use for heaver stuff. Sometimes the nice neoprene

ones go onsale for half off, I'm mad because I just missed that sale -

it happened a week after I bought the cheap metal ones! ha.
