Guest guest Posted February 23, 2000 Report Share Posted February 23, 2000 My brother has a scanner so maybe I'll take some pictures and send them to you, he has one that is his baby a 69 les paul gold top, a handmade laravee (SP?) acoustic, he had a jag (sold it, it was a 60's model), and there are a few more in there I don't know, I can't keep track. One amp he paid $20 for and collectors keep trying to buy it, it's a vibrolux (1966 black face) and a tremolux (1950), so you see, he likes the old stuff. His band plays the classics old rock n roll and some original stuff and current also. The musician thing is in his blood and his health kind of put the bonkers on that for almost a year but now he's feeling better and stronger and is back into it full force. His dream guitar is a gretch country gentlemen (know anyone who's selling one?)!!! Guest guest Posted February 23, 2000 Report Share Posted February 23, 2000 My whole family was musical, all my aunts played the piano, and my mom, they also played the fiddle....I, on the other hand, can't play anything (oh yeah, way down upon the swannee river on the piano), my mom sent me to piano lessons but the catholic nuns taught it and I used to hide behind the convent (I was scared of them), so that was a waste of time and money. I do think I can dance though, well, I'm not sure, when I'm a little tipsy I get this ginger rogers complex thing happening and I feel quite good about myself, however, if someone were to tape me, I fear the results would speak volumes for my abilities!! I was at a party on the weekend and two guys were playing some jazz music. They each had a Gretch hollow body electric. One was a 1954 model and the other was a 1955.
