Guest guest
This is very true. There is a book about what you can and cant mix as far as herbs and prescription drugs. I think it is called the People's Pharmacy. Sherry B > ohhh becareful mixing herbs and prescription drugs...you should research it. Guest guest
Debbie, There are other herbs you can use also. Hops, passionflower and Kava Kava are all useful. Kava is pretty potent though. You might try alternating two or three of them so none gets used too much. Also, if you are having bad dreams and waking up a lot, then the Klonopin isn't doing the job you need it to, which is give you RESTFUL sleep. <><><><><> Re: sleep help , I have tried Valerian in the past and it worked for awhile, but with continual use, it seemed not to have the same effect on me as it did in the beginning. You gave me a good idea though. I may try to start back on it and gradually ease off the Klonopin. I am not sleeping well at all. The Klonopin makes me sleep, but I have bad dreams and wake up a lot. Guest guest
MM I'd advise being careful with the Kava Kava. Recent studies have shown it to have some drug interactions with many of the types of drugs we have to take. A good " bedtime " tea should help a bit with Debbie's problems, but Fibro really does a number on our sleep system. I've had some luck with the tranquilizer Seroquil. Debbie, you might want to ask your Dr. about that. One thing, it has, periodically, needed to be adjusted upwards in dose for me, but I started on the lowest dose possible. Good luck Debbie! BB . Guest guest
, Thanks for the information. I think I have tried Kava Kava and didn't do too well with it. I may try the Passion Flower though.
