Access to cannabis is going to be even more important, especially for pain

patients, as the supply of legal opioids gets smaller and smaller because

of all of the negative publicity (aka propaganda). Opioids are hard enough

to get now, but the FDA is working on making it even harder!

Opioids and cannabis are safe medications when used responsibly and the

access problems are INSANE! I've been borderline bedridden since my doctors

found out that the FDA was instituting a REMS program for Actiq (they found

out in November 2011 and January 2012, program started March 20, 2012).

Addicts and abusers are still able to acquire opioids and cannabis, but we

are left to suffer without relief. It is disgusting and despicable!

Cannabis even has the ability to fight my inoperable brain tumor that is

impervious to radiation and chemotherapy. I'll suffer and die over the next

five (maximum) years instead of being cured, all because of the

phony-baloney " War on Drugs " .

Sorry for getting up on my soapbox, again, but I can't seem to help it*.*

Most people do not need much marijuana for symptom management, far less

than is required to get high or stoned. I believe marijuana should be a

legal medication. We need as many options as possible because what works

for one may not work for the next.
