Summer challenge

When does the new challenge start? June 1? that sounds good to me,

and if thats the case, Im in!

Ive been kinda lurking, so I should probably introduce myself.

My names Crystle, Im 17 yrs old and up until recently I was never

completely happy with my weight and its starting to put alot of

pressure on me now.

I havent gained alot of inches, but most of my pants are getting

tighter and tighter and my weight has gone from 105 to 120 in the

last year so Im taking this as a hint to start getting into shape

before I really do balloon.

Im 5'2 " so Im really hoping to get back down to 105 and I know this

is gonna be a real challenge because Im addiced to my junk food and I

eat alot more than I should daily.

Im not really expecting to lose all this weight till the end of

summer, so thats only about a lb a week.

I need tons of encouragement cuz I tend to slack off and lose

interest in any exercise.

Im gonna try and do tae bo 6 days a week once the challenge starts

with Pilates every other day.

Pray for me

hi crystle!

yes june 1 is the beginning of our summer challenges -- im assuming that you

are going to be doing the summer 100 challenge. thats great!!! i hope

that it helps you to reach your goals. we have two other summer

challenges -- guts and butts focus one day each week and fruits & veggies

(minimum 5 a day) if you are interested in those as well. your pilates

workouts can count in the guts and butts challenge!

Hey

Yeah Im up for the guts and butts challenge but not the fruits and

veggies. Im still young and my mom is a chocaholic so there is ALWAYS

junk food in my house and hardly any health food including fruits and

veggies so I honestly dont think I hit the minimum.

It may not be healthy, and I think Id be lucky to get in 2 bananas

per week but thats about it.

heh

anyway. Im up for the other 2 challenges.

ok, best wishes on getting your gut and butt together this summer ;)

and yah you are still young.... just wait until you are looking at 40 like

i am ;)

i never ate fruits and vegetables when i was younger either and now im

wishing that i had!

because now that i really need to eat them (as the body ages, metabolism

slows down and fruits and vegetables become very important in order to

lose/maintain weight), it is difficult to find ones that i like and

difficult to train myself to eat in this new way.

im wishing that i had listened to my mom when she was trying to teach me to

eat properly when i was a kid.

Well, I'm not breaking any records here....LOL. I complete workout no.

21 this am. Considering I injured my foot this month and take sundays off, I

guess I did pretty good.

So, 79 to go...still got October as my goal for finishing. We'll see!

I will have to add a TON more in. I have completed workout 16 in the

Summer 100. I had to take off 9 days since I pulled some muscles in

my lower back. It is much better. I only did 35 Minutes of AL 1 with

the bag on Monday Morning at 5:30. This morning was not so good. But

will try to make the extra up. I need to look good in a dress for a

freinds wedding by Sept 19th. I think that should not be a problem if

I can stay on track.

Eating could be better this week, but will keep trying every day.

Great to hear that everyone else is doing so well.

My past week looked something like this:

SUN: OFF

MON: Tae Bo Total Advanced 3 and 25 min weights

TUE: GRA-Orange

WED: 25 min weights

THURS: AL5

FRI: AL3

SAT: BL7 and 25 min weights

I've been doing pretty well on the fruits and veggies, too. Eating lots of

salad!! :)

That looks great! I can't wait until I can say I did the Advance 3 and

weights. You must be looking pretty buffed right now....:)

Even " just " 35 minutes a day of bag work is going to make a great

difference for you. You're doing good! to get up so early to work out. Keep

it up!

Here's mine for the past week:

Sun - Firm Upper Body Sculpt(30 min), and Firm Ab Sculpt (30 min)

Mon - BL2

Tues - BL9 and Firm Upper Body Sculpt

Wed - GRA #2

Thurs - OFF

Fri - Moved five 50 pound bags of sand out of my trunk to my

basement, filled my bag, and beat it silly for 30 minutes.

Sat - Tae Bo Impact - 40 minutes, Firm Upper Body Sculpt. Also went

swimming for 2 hours, and cleaned my house for 3 terribly long hours.

YOu are also doing great. I like to hear the progress you keep making.

Even if you were sore, you did get out and do something to walk it

out. GREAT!!!
