Guest guest
Bruce, Thanks for the funny and great story. Even if you don't think you need that kind of encouragement, it is nice. You are setting a good example as an " old " guy. Andy

Guest guest
r- As my wise cousin said, " this is body for life, not body for 12 weeks. " I first did bfl 5 years ago. You wouldn't know it now. I am 20 lbs overweight and I don't even want to think about my bodyfat %. Everytime I have a setback around my health, I quit doing bfl. It is a yo-yo. Let's make a pack to stay away from cheesecake (except on our freeday) and really take care of ourselves the rest of 2006. That way we can enter 2007 fit. rogerandout47 wrote: > > OY.......now I'm depressed.......not up to 2 and a half years of > BFL/dieting........going for cheesecake.....asta > > R > > > > > > I'm a teacher with 2.5 years of BFL under my belt. Guest guest
, I'll drink to that. I, like others have testified, have been blessed with some challenging opportunities which have caused stress and the lack of desire about exercising, eating properly and generally taking care of one's self. Today, I have vowed to contact my new trainer and set a schedule to get back on the right track and plan for my success - not my failure. Get up. Dust yourself off and start over again. Guest guest
I am in the gym, yet the more I read about lifting the more I feel that I need a program designed for me. I love the nutritional concept of BFL! I will begin to follow those principles. I did order the Dr. Oz diet " you on a diet " . I watched him on Oprah and liked what he was saying. Guest guest
R, My hubby and I do completely different workouts. While He folows the BFL workout strictly, I do Austin's Daily Workout 6 days a week. If you feel you need to tweek your routine and feel you would achieve better results etc., perhaps you should do it. I am no fitness expert, I just do what works best for me as an individual. Guest guest
How many weeks have you done BFL so far? Before you start thinking you need another program, you really should consider giving yourself the full 12 weeks. Are you already an experienced weight lifter? Make sure you get rid of all unauthorized food which is a magnet for attracting demons. Guest guest
I played hockey in college, football, wreslted, and ran track in high school. VERY familiar with weight lifting. I was lifting most up until June of this year. I stopped as my schedule and demands got way too intense. I started lifting again 3 weeks ago. Looking at the BFL program I am not a fan of doing y all of your upper extremities in one workout. I tend to go for a 3 day or 4 day split. One leg day is enough for me!! Guest guest
Jess, I am in favor of that!! I am going to work shoulders, chest and back today. Still feeling out my sets and reps. The mere fact that I am in the gym is a step in the right direction! R -- In bodyforlife , B wrote: > > R, > > My hubby and I do completely different workouts. Guest guest
Pick a weight-lifting plan or have someone do it for you and stick with it. Hopefully, you have worked out your schedule and demands and you can now commit to a fitness program. Even if you have taken a few months off, the BFL weight lifting is a good place to pick up again. If you keep doubting whether what you are doing now is working and changing programs, you probably aren't going to get very far. Consistency is the key.
