I wanted to second what Margie has to say...there is no good reason why you should be made to wait so long or not get your lab results at all. It used to be argued that a patient does not really have a need for information that they cannot interpret or use, but I think the average patient is a little more enlightened these days. And for those of us with long term diseases like PSC, I think we should be involved in our medical treatment and monitoring if we wish to be.

To me it is inexcusable to make you wait for such a long period of time for results...I think we are all probably anxious about our labwork, and I think it is very inconsiderate to leave someone hanging with something that important. If I had treated any of my veterinary clients like that, they would be long gone!!
