Guest guest
The show on tonight has someone who sleeps with their hair dryer on. Now, I know that is dangerous, but I certainly used to do the same in college when I had a roommate and before I discovered box fans and Marpac 980A Sound Screen Sleep Conditioner White Noise Generator Dual Speed (a wonderful product!!!). I don't think she is an addict, I'll bet she has 4S! I wish I could talk to the lady involved and let her know that there are others who require white noise to concentrate and relax. It irritates me that they are going to treat this as an addiction on her part. Sheesh!
Guest guest
Sleeping with the hair dryer on? Holy cow, I imagine that was expensive for power, and very dangerous indeed. I haven't seen the show but she may not have 4S. I don't know if I'd call it an addiction either, but more something that she really enjoys that is a little strange. I am certainly hooked on my cd of frogs and water running in order to sleep... but it has nothing to do with my 4S. I'm not using it to block any sounds out that I dislike. I just REALLY love it. My brother-in-law actually studies in the bathroom with the shower running. He's in love with that sound and studies better with it. He certainly doesn't have 4S because his kids chew like cows and it doesn't bother him in the least. I don't think anything bothers him (He's very patient). How would it be? I'll keep dreaming. Guest guest
I like to sleep with the fan on. I used to use a white noise sound machine, but I like the fan better. It circulates the air and keeps the room cooler, too, so it serves 2 purposes, blocks out noise and cools the room. However, the hair-dryer is too dangerous. You don't want it to overheat and start a fire or something when you're sleeping. That person should switch to a fan.
