Guest guest
Hi Judi,...It is good to hear from you, I am feeling much better. It seems the Ultracet, is working better for me then the Darvocet. I have less pain. The Wellbutrin seems to be helping my depression, much better then the Prozac, I think I was on it too long. I know what you mean,I start feeling sorry for myself, and then I see others in worse conditions. I was telling my daughter the other day, at least I have all my limbs they might not work, but I'm still here. There is a young man 28, who has had multiple brain tumors since he was 17, and he still continues to fight, and goes through chemo. I was listening to the radio one morning, and they were having patients from St Judes talk about how wonderful the hospital is. They fly him all the time to the hospital for treatments, that is so wonderful, it touched my heart. As for the man with that horrible comment, I don't think I could have bit my tongue, I am so sorry that you had to go throught that. Some people are so ignorant, and have to be overlooked. You take care my dear friend, may you have a blessed day, luv Tawny > Hi there, > > Just wanted to let you know I've been thinking about you. Guest guest
Althea,I am glad that your feeling a little better, you do have a lot of people thinking about you, and keeping you in their prayers. It is cold here also, and windy, but sunny. I will be so glad for warm weather, and maybe we will all get some relief. I'm not sure what to think about this sac full of fluid either. I am going to try heat packs, maybe that will help some. If it gets any worse, I will call my doctor, thanks so much for your kind words, and prayers, Tawny --- In , " blueroses11 " <blueroses11@e...> wrote: > Tawny, > Thank you so much for your thoughts. Guest guest
Hi Boo,....It's so wonderful to hear from you, I miss seeing you post. Thanks so much for your support, and kindness it helps so much. When I first started the meds last week, they seemed to be doing great, and then yesterday, I had to take Darvocet with the Ultracet. I'm not sure if I'm in a flare or not. It seems like I'm basically like this all the time. Can one be in a flare all the time? I wish that I could get some relief. Everytime I boast about feeling better, I think I bring myself bad luck, lol Boo, I am so sorry that your going through personal problems, if you need me, I'm here remember that. Guest guest
Thanks. I teach in OKC and the stress is nearly killing me. I had a student slam me up agaist the wall and really hurt me last week. The principal has decided that there was not enough evidencxe even though I had a bruise on my elbow and my back was wrenched. I had him come down instantly and he could see I was almost throwing up. He wanted me to go home! Now he says not enough evidence. Oh, Well!!!! Guest guest
Oh my goodness, that is terrible. I am so sorry that you have to be treated like that, and the principal does nothing. That really irritates me, and thats why the troubled students do that, they know they can get away with it. I live in OKC, we bought a house here recently. I'm two blocks from Hawthorne Elementary, but my daughter is finishing out in the Putnam city, since that is where she started. They need more respect for our teachers,...... I hope that you start feeling better, if you want please write me privately, hugs Tawny > Thanks. I teach in OKC and the stress is nearly killing me. Guest guest
Tawney & Althea - I have two poodles (cats with perms) and 2 Feral cat teenagers I have hand feed since they were abandoned at 2 weeks old. They too seem to know where I hurt, and usually try to lay on that body part. I just got a vibrating/heating seat cushion for my chair. It is wonderful for helping me wake up or relax painful back or hip joints. My baby cat/ Blackie / has been fighting me for it. She rolls on her back and stretches on the heated cushion and then promptly falls asleep. Animals are such a wonderful gift from God. I really enjoy watching their antics. Guest guest
That's funny! My dogs do the same! The little one weighs 2 lbs, the next one 3 lbs. and the big one is 7 lbs. She usually sleeps on my pillow against my head. The little one looks a little like a cat and kind of stretches like a cat. I wonder sometimes if she is like cat/dog! They are so sweet and loving. I think they really sense when I hurt because they usually lick my right knee or my hands. That is where I have the most pain. Becky [ ] Tawny I am so sorry you fell - I hope you are feeling better today. I hope your bruises go away faster then mine. I get a bruise and it stays long enough that I forget where I got it. One time I was having my annual breast exam by the military doctor. The doctor told me after the exam to get dressed but he needed to talk to me. He sent the witness to the exam out and then told me he had to ask... " Does your husband beat you? " I was dumbfounded...Said " NO WAY " ... He said well you have bruises all over your chest. I hadn't even noticed...don't look in mirrors much... I told him the truth that I bruise very easily and maybe one of my cats had slept on my chest...lol God bless, Althea

I enjoyed chatting with you, and would love to chat again sometime. It was 62 degrees here today, and sunny. It was so beautiful, how I wish that I could really enjoy it. It's lovely anyway, just the warmth of the sunshine is so great on these rusty bones. You take care, and hope to hear from you soon,Tawny > > Thanks. Guest guest
Hey, I have a Netherland Dwarf rabbit and she keeps me sane and gives comfort. She can even help me fall asleep when troubles say not. I let her snuggle up near my ear and the rythym of her breathing and her warmth are soothing. Crazy, huh! Guest guest
She is one of the best pets I have ever had. She is making me type with one hand right now. She always seems to know when I need her. She will lick my hand when I feel bad. Her name is Rocky. My students named her. We were studying rocks two years ago when our school counselor gave her to me. He and his daughter raise them and he knew I was having a real tough time. He said rabbits are better than tranq.s for depression. He was right. My daughter has a mini-rex.

Guest guest
They make sweet pets. Very communicative and affectionate. I had a rabbit dealer try to tell me they didn't. He never met my Rocky! I take her to school on occasion to visit my students. They are calmer on her visiting days. I just wears her out so we only do it for reward type days. She has so much fun running around the classroom all day and snatching papers and getting tooooooo much attention! I met some people from Tulsa who use their rabbits to visit terminally ill children in the hospital in Tulsa. I wish I could retire from teaching and do that. Guest guest
Hi , I bet she is adorable. We had a neighbour that had a dwarf rabbit and one day she brought it down to show (our do). followed the rabbit all around the yard, cuddled it, laid down beside it. When my neighbour left with the rabbit, was so upset, she kept going to the gate and crying. After two or three times of this, I had to tell her to please not bring it back since it was upsetting so much. Our neighbour at the back also has a dwarf rabbit and when it is outside she lays beside the fence and lays on the other side of the fence and Lily(rabbit) and they rub noses through the chainlink fence. Guest guest
Hey, I have to go and see my RA on Monday the 8th. I have my Remicade injection on that day too. Maybe if I get out early enough I can give you a call and we can meet for some lunch. My doctors office is on NW44th. The orthopedic and reconstruction building. I am not too good about places in the city or directions but if you can tell me how to go I can follow directions. I am so sorry about the puppy problems. Is the angel okay? Or at least reparable. I have had so many things broken over the years by hubby, dogs, cats, son...that I try not to get attached to them...lol On a different note: Mickey is in for his surgery today. I am going to be on pins and needles all day till I hear he is through and okay. I can't believe it but Jay and I were finally getting financially okay and Mickey's vet bills have put us in the red again. I had actually put some money away each month since Christmas and that will be all gone after I pay the vet bill. Does Satan look in our savings account and figure out just what he can do to make life difficult as can be for us. Oh well, I am better off then a lot... This last year was one of the worst I have ever had both finacially and healthwise. Thank goodness, my faith never waivered and I think finally like Job, I may see an end to it all soon. I'm sorry you and Tawny have had it so rough lately. Will keep you both in my positive thoughts and prayers. Take care and reserve some TLC for yourself.
