Every organization who has been certified by IS/ISO 14001 EMS and OHSAS 18001 or IS 18001:2000 OHSMS will have a definite procedure on “Emergency / Contingency Preparedness and Response System”, 1. Which identify potential contingency / emergency situations in the organization. 2. Plan for identified contingencies / emergencies in advance and periodically test these plans to ensure adequate response during the actual contingencies / emergencies. In addition to the fire, we need to incorporate the Emergency / Contingency Preparedness and Response System on the following: v Earthquake v Cyclone v Flood Can any one send literature details / procedure on the above.
