Thanks for posting that link Maurice, that was incredibly helpful. Previously I mentioned using a product called Vegelane - which I believe from the description is the same/similar to fitoderm. The manufacturers description is.... " Vegelane is obtained by hydrogenation of the Squalene contained in the Olive Oil unsaponifiables. Vegelane is highly stable, and is the equivalent to human sebum, making it perfectly compatible to the skin. " I was of the belief that it was then squalene, but it would appear that it is squalane - is that right? Only you mentioned squalane works but it is very expensive, but the vegelane I am buying is not that expensive. At under $100 per kg I consider it a comparible expense to jojoba oil and often use it in place of jojoba, depending on the product it is being placed into.
