Protein Powder

I posted this earlier, but I am still looking for advice on what

brand of protein-only powder would be best if I wanted to add it to

my oatmeal in the morning. I am getting sick of cottage cheese!!!

I love all of the posts and it is really helping my wife and I. We

are in our fourth week of our first challenge and are doing

everything to the letter. We haven't cheated at all or missed a

single workout (this with 2 small children and very demanding

jobs!). On our " off days " we are only deviating a little from our

regular day meal plans.

My wife is getting frustrated, because she is seeing very few

results. Hopefully the fat (baby weight for her, beer and pizza

weight for me) will start to peel off soon.

Thanks for your inspiration!

Regards,

Ari

Ari,

I've only tried EAS Precision Protien, and I love it. Easy mix, and

the chocolate is a good taste. I don't know if I'd mix with the

oatmeal, but might drink a glass of it with it.

As for making progress, don't worry -- you are. It took me nearly

six weeks during my first challenge. I'm sure others will confirm

this, but it seems like you are getting nowhere forever. Then almost

overnight you notice that your pants are falling off, people are

commenting, etc.

Finally, don't worry about the weight. When I started my first

challenge, a few years back, I weighed about 185 and was considering

moving to 40 " waist pants. I'm about 210 now, and fit comfortably in

38 " waist pants. And I'm in better physical (cardio) shape than I

was back then.

It is happening...just be patient.

Hi Ari,

I use Optimum Nutriton (brand) 100% Whey, chocolate flavored and strawberry

flavored. I have been using this for about two years.

And how

much oatmeal should I be eating? I am a 215 pound, 6' 2 " male.

Thanks - ARI
