Guest guest
Hi Bunny, I think that is a great idea! The multi colored sounds good too! Too rainbow like might look like its for gay rights. Was just thinking psychadelic,, for " psycho " delic hahahahaha...Not sure what that would look like however! I LOVE to do graphics too! Do you happen to have a website with what youve done on it? WOuld love to see . I love playing on PSP. > > Ok...this is going to sound really weird but bare with me here. You are all familiar with the cause ribbons that are out there...the red one for aids, the yellow for support of our troops, pink for breast cancer...does anyone know if BPD or even Bi-polar disorder has a support ribbon? > > I do graphics on the side and was interested in coming up with some ideas to put together a BPD cause ribbon if there isn't one already. I'd love some suggestions. I was thinking something sort of tie-dye since this illness seems to be all over the place. I have to be careful though because I think Autism awareness has a multi-color puzzle piece type of theme. Maybe a (B)Blue, (P)Purple and (D)Daffodil Yellow mix? I want to come up with something we can use to try to get it recognized officially. Any ideas? > > > > Kisses and Nibbles, > > Bunny > > >

Guest guest
Bunny, I like the idea of a support ribbon. It should be bright so it stand out. I like the yellow or purple. Guest guest
Bunny, I think this is a great idea. What a great way for us to be able to bring BPD awareness to the public. My 'sarcastic' side has this suggestion - what about frayed ends, to represent the 'strings attached' to whatever a BPD dies that is nice and also how we KOs feel after a BPD encounter? Guest guest
I can't think of anything off hand (not too familiar with ribbons lol). But, I was thinking about some kind of awareness movement in my area. As far as I know there are no support groups or any kind of non-profit working with BPD here. Since I work for an association of health-related charities, I'm slowly but surely getting a few connections. I'm busy with wedding planning at the moment, but I wanted to try to get some ideas. I think it'd be really helpful for KOs who've never heard of BPD. Even just a few signs/flyers/a billboard could reach the right person. I just have no idea where I'd begin or what kind of goals I would set. Any ideas? Actually, what about something using black and white? It's not terribly colorful, but it certainly is symbolic!! Guest guest
I think it should look as though it was colored with crayons (tactfully of course) in those colors since emotionally our nadas/fadas are only children. Guest guest
Irridescent so it changes color with every light - just like a person with BPD. ( Hey, maybe if the BPDers wore them instead of us, it'd be like a secret warning code...we could give them as Mother's/ Father's Day gifts next year!) -Leslye " a.lewis " wrote: Good idea!
