So I did my first Firm tapes last night. This was a 3 dvd set I

borrowed from my bro. He really likes them. I believe it was an Ab

sculpt, cardio, and upper/lower body. I did the upper/lower body

workout last night... it was an hour total time.

I really, really really liked these. But I don't have one of the

steps...so I'll have to look into getting one. I found though, for

the most part I could do the upper and lower body workouts without

the step, or by using the stairs. My TV is right near the stairs, so

I just used those as a step. And for the part where you were seated

on the step, I used a chair.

Anyways, I think I'm going to rotate one half of these in 2-4 times a

week after a half hour of Tae Bo. I definitely sweated, and I think

it would make for a great combo. I think I'll use some of the basic

tapes that have no floorwork...or one of the advanced for the first

half, then slap in either the upper or lower body or the abs tape

from the Firm. It was nice to get back to weights again, but I found

my barbel set was too heavy for some of the upper body moves. I need

to get a selection of smaller weights for that. The 8 pound ones

worked well, but there were certain lifts I couldn't do because after

one repetition, my arms were about to collapse! haha. Today I just

feel slightly sore, but nothing bad.

What I liked best was - I did the lower body sculpt first, thinking

that it would be really hard. But because of Tae Bo, and all the

squats and legwork, it really wasn't bad at all! It was great to add

about 16 pounds to my workout on my legs...and I'm feeling it in my

hamstrings today.

Just thought I'd put this info up for anyone who might be thinking

about throwing in some variety with their Tae Bo... I think this will

help some of my lower arm flab in no time! hah!
