Carolyn,

I truly enjoyed the Mighty 100, I just think it took me too long to complete it.

I did workout regularly unless I was ill or overly exhausted. Normally, I

averaged 18 workouts per month. I would like to have done 25 per month. I do

Pilates, the Firm, and Tae Bo. But nothing can take the place of Tae Bo. I

love this Tae Bo!!! It is the bomb!!! I used to watch my mother workout when I

was in my 20s. Boy, was that a boring routine. I could never see myself doing

those super boring activities. But Tae Bo makes you strong, confident, fit and

it is fun. Tae Bo is my blessing from God!

well, it will have taken me 5 months and that is right on target for the

goal that i set, so it worked out ok.

(average of 20 workouts per month, about 5 days a week)

im thinking of starting another 100 and making the goal date closer -- 4

months (average of 25 workouts per month, 6 days a week).

if i start on june 1st then i will finish a few weeks after my 40th

birthday, so im thinking that this might make a good challenge for me.

Carolyn,

If you do it, please count me in. The challenge help stay in action. I

need to incorporate some treadmill work this time around.

Great,

I will return from Vegas on June 1st, so June 2nd sounds excellent to me.

Maybe I can get my sister join in on this challenge also. Now, this time we

are trying to complete 100 workouts in 4 months or less, Correct? Our date

for completion is October 1st.

hi patricia!!

yep... you said that 5 months was too long so 4 months it is!!! LOL!!!

and yah get your sister going on her 100 too!

so lets see.... between jun 1 and, lets say sept 28 to round it off, there

are 17 weeks.

if we aim to do 6 workouts a week then that will give us 102 workouts in our

4 months.

so we can take an extra day off on only 2 occasions during that time. if

you like, we can use sept 30 as our last day and therefore give ourselves

two addirional 'flex' days.

i suppose though that we could make up any slack by doing 2 workouts some

days -- not 2 taebo tapes back to back for example, but two different and

separate exercise *sessions* in the same day. like a taebo workout in the

morning and a bike ride in the evening would count as 2 workouts for that

day. use your own discretion to count workouts. alot of the time i do 30

mins of stretching after my main workout for the day and i count both

activities as one workout, not two (because they are done in the same

session and i just cant call stretching a 'workout'...lol). but i do plan

on riding my bike this summer and using that as an evening workout, in

addition to my morning stuff, if i can swing it. i will have to see how

that goes.

anyway, ive been trying to maintain a workout schedule of 6 days a week for

quite a while now and it seems that i need a little push to achieve it on a

regular basis. so, it will be very good for me to have you and your sis

(what is her name?) working on this challenge with me.

would anyone else like to join in? what should we call this one? our last

one was the MIGHTY 100... how about the QUICKIE 100? LOL!

our day off each week can be any day of the week that we want (doesnt have

to be sunday and doesnt have to be the same day each week). and we can do

any type of workout that we want, of course... not just taebo.

how does all of that sound?

Sound Great!! My sister's name is BT. That is short for Bettina.

Everything sounds great. I think I will try to get my pastor in on this

too! It would be so good to have the people I love most working out on a

regular basis. Can he count 18 holes of golf as a workout? He does not use

a cart so he has to walk four miles or more for each 18 holes. And yes,

let's count all of our workouts individually. I enjoy finishing up my Tae

Bo with Pilates. It makes me feel so much better and it calms me down. I

plan to post pictures August 1st. This is so exciting!.

oh good, i like to know who im working out with!! LOL! say hello to BT

for me and tell her to get her workout gear all ready because she is going

to be kickin her way right through to october 1st! :)

> Can he count 18 holes of golf as a workout? He

of course he can!!

thats fine!!! however you wish to count your workouts is fine with me.

but personally im going to count individual sessions because like i said

before, i cant justify stretching/cooling down after my main workout as a

workout in itself... but certainly pilates after taebo could count as 2

workouts.

> I

> plan to post pictures August 1st.

excellent!! i will show everyone my pictures when i have them ready. will

be during the first week of june. im hoping to see some sort of changes in

my pics. if i dont then i think that i will freak out! lol. we shall

see.
