Guest guest
I had carpel tunnel surgery on both hands at the same time. I was a nail technician at the time and needed to heal and get back to works so I wanted to get the healing over with. It was a little difficult for the first few days but I was back to work in less than two weeks. I have not had any problems since. I don't know how it works for everyone but it was great for me. It was such a relief after all of the numbness and pain which went clear up into my shoulders. Good luck, Rena
Guest guest
I bought Matt Furey's carpal tunnel program for my wife when she was having problems. Doing the exercises in the program got rid of her symptoms. >Has anyone been cured of carpet tunnel syndrome by using gelatinous >broth or by any method other than surgery? > >I'm bothered by the tingling in my thumb and first 2 fingers of my left >hand mostly. Guest guest
I had a lot of tingling in my hands and kept dropping things a year or two ago and I took a B vitamin complex and it went away. Hasn't came back since then, but I eat more red meat now than I did then. Bertie
Guest guest
Hi I am new and this is my first posting on this board, but I just had to jump in here. I had terrible symptoms of carpal tunnel from 1996 to 2003, worsening every year. I finally went to the doctor in 2003 and had a nerve conduction test..which showed no damage. The doctor was very surprised at this. I have a family history of RA, so the doc thought maybe that was the cause of it. I began to take glucosamine/chondriotin supplements and that gave me great relief of my symptoms. But the real breakthrough for me came when I found that my thyroid was low. I began taking Armour Thyroid in August of last year and by March of this year I went off of my glucosamine..just to see. Well I have not had a great return of my symptoms..at least not nearly as bad as before. So you might want to have your thyroid checked as that can cause carpal tunnel. Guest guest
But then the question becomes, what hurt the thyroid? Fluoride? Coffee? Something else? > > > > Has anyone been cured of carpet tunnel syndrome by using > gelatinous > > broth or by any method other than surgery? > > > > I'm bothered by the tingling in my thumb and first 2 fingers of my > left > > hand mostly. Guest guest
Thanks. I do take thyroid meds but know I need more. I'm holding off because I want to have enough money to have my adrenals taken care of at the same time, a thing which Kaiser doesn't take into consideration. I'm thinking of Dr Rind. Guest guest
Now that is a loaded question! What can hurt the thyroid: soy, fluoride, mercury, bromide (in many processed breads), iodine deficiency, there are many others. Guest guest
Oh..you have Kaiser. They have a bad reputation for just allowing a TSH test and not the more important Free T3 and Free T4. You can learn to take care of your adrenals yourself to start with..go here: NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ Put in your sign up note that Missy sent you. Dr Rind has some good things on his site..namely his temperature charting. Missy P.S. don't forget to read the site www.stopthethyroidmadness.com > > > So you might want to have your thyroid checked as that can cause > > carpal tunnel. > Parashis > artpages@... > zine: > artpagesonline.com > > portfolio: > http://www.artpagesonline.com/EPportfolio/000portfolio.html >
Guest guest
Yeah! If you want health and not just a solution to a troubling symptom, that's the trick - find out what caused it and a way to fix that. There are ways to chelate fluoride and bromide - iodine supplements, etc. as well as ways to deal with mercury. But first you have to know you've got it. > > > > > > But then the question becomes, what hurt the thyroid? Fluoride? > > Coffee? Guest guest
I have Hashimotos..the autoimmune form where antibodies attack and destroy the thyroid. Autoimmune diseases run in my family. I also take iodine which displaces the fluoride and bromide. And Armour Thyroid is the best thyroid replacement as it has all the hormones my own thyroid would make.
