Heidemarie,

Sorry, I can't help you with that one. I just switched RSD doctors and this

one believes that RSD is only in limbs when I have been told I have it in my

back, ribcage and head/jaw. So now I have to rethink things.

I do know that classically it is known to jump from one side to the other.

With this disease pick a doctor and they'll have a different opinion than the

last doctor.

Hi ,

My name is Tracey. I've had RSD for 3 years now

and unfortunately it has spread throughout most of my

body. The people in this group are just wonderful and

so supportive. I hope you feel at home here.

Hugs, Tracey

Hi ,

Yes, my hand or leg will get what they term the tremors at times. It is a

typical symptom of rsd.

Please be careful with taking too much darvocet. It is something you need to

address tomorrow.

I would suggest some neurontin, and maybe a fentanyl patch. That way if the

patch is on you don't take too much, it goes in slowly and is more

appropriate for treating rsd pain. Believe me, I know what you are going

through I really do, but unfortunately I don't think your medications are

appropriate for now. Eventually maybe you can learn self hypnosis too. I find

it helps when I am in an episode. I breath deeply and say a poem or prayer.

Try it. It certainly can't hurt.

Please call in the morning and talk to the doctor about this .

I care.

Hugs and a pain free minute,

Deb

meds are not helping and I am strting to take to much. I feel so drugged.

What can I do. I pain is almost unbearable. I am on Darvocet for the pain.

But it's starting not to work and now we, (my doc and I) hhave to find

something ellse that works. The shking is also driving me nuts. Does

Deb,

I am working on the medication change. Thank you for your concern. I have

been doing hypnosis and it works. Sometimes its really hard to egt a rpayer

going when the pain is severe but I still try.

Hi ,

I hope you are feeling better. I didn't get your

email till this morning as I didn't get on the

computer last night. I had to go to the hospital to

see my mom who just had a knee replacement surgery.

She is doing well though but in a lot of pain.

I, too, have been in a lot of pain. I took

Darvect at one time but I am now taking a medication

called Levo_Dromoran. It helps more than anything

else I've tried. Please talk to your doctor and try a

different type of pain medication. I know when the

pain gets intolerable it's so hard just to get through

the days. And then depression sets in. I've had way

too much of that lately and cry so often. It's not

good.

Yes, I do get the shaking hands, too. Your

nerves do act up when you are in pain. You are not

alone in this, Hon. You need to just fight it best

you can and be strong. Believe me, I know it's hard

but find at times like this try and find something to

distract you a bit. I find reading suspense books

really helps me.

Let me know how you are doing, okay.
