For $2000 they could come to NZ, get the colonoscopy and have a holiday.

Surely a colonoscopy costs more than $200USD??  I just checked and my roundtrip fare would be about $1800USD to go to Aukland... Too bad, because I'm a year past due for my colonoscopy, my crappy UHC policy won't cover it, (goes to deductible) and I would love to visit NZ...

Perhaps you need to go off season!A colonoscopy here a few years ago cost about NZ$600.
