Guest guest
I know my Dr. puts at the bottom of all his prescriptions " you should not drive when taking the medication you have been prescribed as it will result in a DUI and/or possible accident, endangerment to others lifes or death " I know he does this just to cover himself though. I know that I have done some strange things after taking Ambien also. My husband makes sure that I am already in bed before taking it, and if I get up within 5 hours of taking it, he gently steers me back to bed. Hasn't happened in a long time, it mostly happened when I first started taking it. I have actually seen this what this does to other people as well. I was in the hospital and a sleep walker wandered into my room, it was her 1st time taking Ambien. She actually remembered it the next day and came to me and apologized. I have never remembered the stuff I've done. Jami in OR
Guest guest
Hi all, I currently am taking lunesta. It worked wonderfully. After about a month it didn't anymore. This is really bad for me. Every night I try to find a combination of stuff to help me fall asleep, stay asleep and not have a hangover in the morning -- from muscle relaxers, phenergen, neurotin, effexor. Yes, the pain is there too. Do anyone have any meds that help with sleep? jerri
Guest guest
I haven't found any so far. I switched from Effexor to Cymbalta (hoping it would help more with the depression and mostly the pain but it hasn't) and now it take me almost 2 hours to get to sleep every nght. They gave me a prescription for Ambien, but it isn't helping me get to sleep (still takes almost 1 1/2 hours) but does help me stay asleep once I am there. I really always feel so very tired all the time though. I haven't officially been diagnosed with fms as they are still trying to rule out some things, but I've thought for years that this is what I have. But since this spring, the pain and fatigue have been so bad that they are finally doing some tests on me. I just wish I could find something for the pain. It is definitely better on the antidepressent, but still have it all the time. Is this just something that i will have to live with being I have fms, or can I expect to find something that will help me be pain free and more awake during the day? Guest guest
I have two. I take Amitriptyline and it is for other things but it does help. Then I also take Rozerem, maybe spelled wrong. It is wonderful, out like a light. I still wake up though due to pain and other things. It is great though on the nights I can sleep through the pain. It should be anybody to sleep. If not sleeping is your problem I highly reccomend it. Gwen anyone have any meds that help with sleep?

It takes the pain away and makes you drowsy, but the drowiness wont last for you to go to sleep long. I dont't know any other sleeping pills. Im having the same problem with sleeping. I been having this problem for almost 8months.Its no wonder i haven't went crazy from lack of sleep. I was taking flexeril 10mg to relax the muscles and I tried physical theapy to stretch out the muscle. It help some of the time. My muscles was very tense and maybe thats whats going on with you. I can tell you to try elavil or ambien CR, but it probably too wear off after a month.

Guest guest
I have been on all of them Lunesta, Ambiem, Ambiem CR and Trazadone... plus a few more that I can't remember. The lunesta kept me awake all night long. The Ambiem worked for a while then stopped, The Ambiem CR never worked, and the Trazadone worked for a while but it was such a large dose that the doctors were not happy with giving it to me. Plus with any of the meds I did great sleeping, but if anything woke me up after I had fallen asleep I would not sleep the rest of the night... Some nights I would only get 15 mins to 30 mins sleep. Now I just don't sleep, I do sleep really great about once a week. Carol

Guest guest
I don't get any drowsiness or euphoria, just some time off the intense pain. My drugs are Oxycodone & Vicodin. If I skip a day, the pain spikes. When I take them, I get a calm relief, No high. This scares me a bit. I don't want to, have to take them the rest of my life.
