I think it is called   required  now to pay for cobras for a few months:)Sounds like bad feelings    Sorry Hope the  launch into future brings you happiness.I think one can google how to leave a job gracefully......

I am still trying to make my " exit " from the local mill.  But gracefully, of course...So far it would seem if I give official notice, stay for the expected 3 months and  behave myself, I was offered a check to pay for the cost of cobra for 3 months.

What should this cobra payment be called?  The quiet money?  The super bonus?

Lynn Ho invited me to share her space in May. The exit from the " mill, " where I was seeing up to six patients an hour, was traumatic, but mercifully quick. Lynn's generosity has made the transition pretty easy.

From the start, my love of practicing medicine blossomed. Haven't quite figured out billing, but am confident I will pay the bills.Hoping to join folks in DC. Machata

We're launching our new web site:

This is going to be our portal for all things IMP. We'll be building in links to register for IMPCamp (save the date!) as well as membership calls.

You will see our new Forum. We're moving to a forum so that we can:

- allow people to search easily

- have theme specific conversations (e.g. 'eRx with Amazing Charts', or 'PCMH - why would anyone want to do this?'

We will continue this listserv but are going to put our main energies into building content on the new site, so come on over, join (free), and start a conversation.
