Thanks .

To everyone: join the site (free) so that you can post to the forum and come

post your favorite IMP thing.

What's a cool app, EMR, billing factoid, office survival tip, piece of advice

for a colleague?

Come and post if you want to offer or buy a piece of equipment.

Post questions, requests.

Check out our blog (we're going to be posting it here from now on) and comment.

I see an RSS feed for each individual forums but is there a single

RSS feed that I could use to keep track of all new forum traffic

(rather than subscribing to many different forum RSS feeds)?

I think (from the web developer) that you use the reader function in your

browser or reader engine.

Someone else chime in here if you know this stuff better than I.

Part of our 'follow by theme' approach is to help reduce the volume of inbox

hits.

Since it's new we all have to create new username/password.

Join as a free member for now and all our current members will be switched to

paid member administratively.

Leave it me to do it wrong.... It looks like I just registered for the forum only (not the whole site). I was looking at the forum posts to determine how names were presented (username vs real name) and chose "Register" at the top of the forum page. This registration is different from the full site registration. You probably don't want people to be able to do this.In case others want to know, the forums list your full name on your posts (not your username). Your username is listed in your profile very discreetly. Carla Gibson To: Sent: Tue, April 19, 2011 7:41:31 PMSubject: Re: New IMPCenter.org

I just posted that it looked like I registered only for the forum but not the whole site... though that post is not showing up on this list yet... But, I spoke too soon, looks like either registration works for the whole site- sorry for the confusion. (Its still early here in Montana, I need more caffeine!) Carla GibsonTo:

Then I must be a big help for this.

I tried to register on the forum.  The web page came up saying I'd

get an email with a password.   An email came in with a link.

Clicking on the link sent me to an error message.

I've just created a thread on IMPCenter.org to track glitches and error

messages, so if you can, post there so I can track and forward problems to our

web development team.

I can't seem to even post a reply to that forum! I am a member --I joined before the last imp camp--but there is no option to register as a member, its either no, or pay another $250.  If someone could upgrade my account appropriately, that would be nice

davidbfeig is my user nameyou can also go to the upper left hand corner once logged into the site to click wordpress options and then change your password

try adding this URL to your RSS Reader :

http://impcenter.org/forum/rss.php

it should collect any recent posts in the forum.

Yup, we're still working out some of the back end glitches and upgrading folks

by hand. You should be all set now .

I am new to RSS, but this seems to work.GMail has a " reader " (shows on my gmail page as a tab in upper left).Open Reader.Click:  Add a Subscription (not quite upper left)Paste:  http://impcenter.org/forum/rss.php  (thanks Thuc)

This seems to update all the different forum topics from the impcenter website as posts are added.  Once you figure out which topics interest you, you could subscribe only to specific topics if desired.

I really like this format!! added it to a reader folder called daily review ( which has lifehacker, paul krugman etc etc) added a reader widget on the droid..and read while I wait for the kids outside school....

I can click on any links I want if I want to answer a post, I think I spend 10 hrs a day on google reader!

Love my google reader, also reader app on droid..  I have over  60+ subscriptions...

Thanks, Sharon!  I did this and can now read the posts.  I've tried registering, but will do it again, as that was 2 days ago and still no username + password email.

I am new to RSS, but this seems to work. GMail has a " reader " (shows on my gmail page as a tab in upper left).

Open Reader.

Click:  Add a Subscription (not quite upper left)

Paste:  http://impcenter.org/forum/rss.php  (thanks Thuc)

If anyone else is having trouble with the www.impcenter.org username and password, let me know off list (sharongeorge@...) and I can send it to you.  Same if you believe you are a paid member (the automatic update isn't working yet).  We are still working on getting the " contact us " emails to go to the correct place.  It's getting better every day though!

Gordon-Hope this email finds you in good spirits.Joined IMP officially. Hoping to be a listed practice- best advertising I can imagine except mouth-to-mouth.Lynn Ho invited me to share her space in May. The exit from the "mill," where I was seeing up to six patients an hour, was traumatic, but mercifully quick. Lynn's generosity has made the transition pretty easy. From the start, my love of practicing medicine blossomed. Haven't quite figured out billing, but am confident I will pay the bills.Hoping to join folks in DC. MachataSubject: New

Hi folks

We're launching our new web site:

http://IMPCenter.org

This is going to be our portal for all things IMP. We'll be building in links to register for IMPCamp (save the date!) as well as membership calls.

You will see our new Forum. We're moving to a forum so that we can:

- allow people to search easily

- have theme specific conversations (e.g. 'eRx with Amazing Charts', or 'PCMH - why would anyone want to do this?'

We will continue this listserv but are going to put our main energies into building content on the new site, so come on over, join (free), and start a conversation.

I am still trying to make my " exit " from the local mill.  But gracefully, of course...So far it would seem if I give official notice, stay for the expected 3 months and  behave myself, I was offered a check to pay for the cost of cobra for 3 months.

What should this cobra payment be called?  The quiet money?  The super bonus?
