Hi all ...

It's been a while since I last posted. I was an active member a few years ago

and have been

on and off since then. My wife and I started back on BFL on 1/1/2006 this year

and have

been doing amazing since. I'm down 50 lbs and she almost 30. Our body fat was

honestly

to high to measure (well mine is anyhow) but we've lost inches and gained a lot

of muscle

along the way. We've been very well structured with 2 off weeks since the

beginning of the

year, both planned.

Like when I was here before I have a lot to lose, so what's different now?

1. I'm already 6 months in and ready for the next 6 months!!!

2. I have larger goals in mind like starting a family to keep me going =) (no

not yet, but

soon)

3. We've seen great success lowering cholesterol, saving money by eating better,

and we

feel absolutely amazing.

4. We're in love with feeling great (and with each other) and support each other

through

our lifestyle change.

So I wanted to share where we are now and also see how others are doing. I

wanted to join

a support group and get some new ideas as we've been hitting a plateau recently.

I was

thinking about changing things up some and instead of following BFL workout

regiment

100% maybe go to a different type of rotation. I was searching the forums by the

yahoo

engine really is horrid with that so I figured I would ask.

What is anyone doing differently than straight BFL? I've seen some workouts that

for

example do things like:

1. chest, tri, shoulders

2. cardio

3. bi, hams, calves

4. cardio

5. back, abs, quads

6. cardio

7. free day

Has anyone done any periodization like this or the likes?

In short we want to change things up some to elicit that adaptation response and

shock

our bodies. I'd love to hear some ideas on what people did to change things up

that maybe

have been on the program longer than the normal 12 weeks.

Thanks all ... I look forward to posting int he future and getting to know all

the new

members.
