My daughter came home from school last week and said there was a person sitting behind her in one of her classes that chomped gum so badly that she couldn't take it anymore. I emailed the teacher about the situation and she moved her seat immediately. I spoke with the teacher tonight at open house and thanked her for moving her and she said she couldn't believe she didn't notice the kid chewing gum because it is one of her biggest pet peeves and went on to say she can't stand her husband's chewing.
