Guest guest
Hi DJ: Connective tissue problems are quite the norm according to my DR.At any point in time, without any stimulas, the top layer of my skin will just turn to water and it will take mths to get it to clear up.It is not localized to any one place on my body,it has happened all over.I don't have any answers to share with you but can tell you that I'm in the same boat.I keep these spots open to the air,and only cover them at night if they are weepy.Neossporin seems to help with the healing. A FRIEND IN PAIN PJ - rsd Hello Hello all, My brother, the one with the computer for a brain, is home so he retrieved all the mail that I could see but not get too. I missed a lot during the last part of May and hope everyone's family members are better now. There seem to be a lot of physical problems going on besides RSD now. Has anyone else gotten the feeling that your health has steadily declined and you are having more and more health problems since getting RSD? I feel like my whole body is falling apart and the more I go to doctors, the more I have to go to more doctors. Does this make sense to anyone? It is like my whole system is out of whack and needs to be " rebooted " . I have been having a problem with the glands in my leg since the vein stripping on March 31 and they are again painful after surgery last Monday. The doc I saw Friday did a CBC and said I was fine. Well, yesterday morning (Sunday) I woke with a red spot that is getting bigger and spreading up. It is not blood poisoning, at least I don't think it is, because it is too wide and not spreading quickly. It is not contact dermatitis, skin is smooth, and no adhesive here. I just have never had this before and don't know what it is. This is when I start calling all my docs, when things start happening I don't understand, demanding answers. Guess that is why they keep telling me to go elsewhere, because they don't know either. I am going to see my family physician and see what she thinks it is as I really have no idea and can't go to an internal medicine specialist with out a referral. I wish there was a place you could go that would have every doctor on call so you could just go to one place and find out what the problem is and move on. The ER is definitely not that place as they have never been very helpful unless you need stitches or something minor like that. All these off the wall things that happen they can't deal with. I will write more later about all that has been happening here, things have been really hectic. I hope you all had a great Memorial Day holiday!
