JD will pace in front of the TV and want me to watch every move on the TV, I cant even read a book. I usually have to finally get really firm and tell him I will stay in the room with him, but I am ALLOWED to read or cross stitch or SOMETHING!!!! It is funny (not) how our kids can be so dictating, but yet so wonderful! , 40, Columbus, OH Bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder, and???? Guest guest
Kerri: JD is sleeping too, which is actually unusual, so he is absolutely adorable right now!! I am impressed at your Christmas lights, I will probably be still trying to get them up on Christmas Eve. I am determined to get something up outside even if it is just around the door. Last year I couldnt get into it at all, bipolar dragging me down, plus living with my idiot husband, and there were no outdoor lights. JD and I were talking in the car the other day and he asked about lights, so I told him I would get them up somehow this year and that I was sorry about last year. He said " Thats okay Mommy, I can see them in my mind. " I cried the rest of the way home. Gosh, I love that kid! , 40, Columbus, OH Bipolar, Borderline Personality Disorder, and???? It is funny (not) how our kids can be so dictating, but yet so wonderful! , he's pretty wonderful right now - he's sleeping!!!! When Mitchel wants to play a computer game and can't get it. Ohh. Mawmy!! Mawmy!!! I am soo needed, as soon as it appears on screen, he pushes me and says " get outa here... " *sigh* yes, I'm so loved . I take what I can get! Yesterday I was putting up Christmas lights (I was so proud, I'm weeks ahead of schedule). And Mitchel kept repeating Christmas Christmas..etc... Then he says " Christmas is giving and family " so cute. I'm sure school (or his new christmas video) had said that. But it was priceless the way he said it. Guest guest
Glad to know I'm not the only one sneaking through my house! Kerri Re: Yep He's Autistic > > MOMMY I NEED YOU!!! > > So that's where I sat being totally ignored, yet entirely needed. But > for what I don't know. > I don't know how many times I have tried to walk out of a room only to be greeted by (once upon a time) a loud scream of rage or (nowadays) " Mo-THER! " And usually it looks as if he is paying me no mind at all. Of course Robbie does this too; I will walk by a room where Robbie is playing and when Robbie sees me he shrieks and suddenly needs me desperately. He had been totally happy before. Guest guest
That's the sweetest thing!! I didn't really have the energy to do them, but it was 70 degrees yesterday, about 40 warmer than usual for this time of year, and dh got out all the icicle lights and put them up around the house without hardly a word from me so I figured I'd better get to it, and do all the bushes and stuff I usually do. At this rate, I may actual get christmas cards out early too!! Kerri Re: Yep He's Autistic Kerri: JD is sleeping too, which is actually unusual, so he is absolutely adorable right now!!
