Guest guest
Hi, My blood pressure, at the request of my physician, is to be taken daily. This was fine until the Nursing office moved to another building. I am considering purchasing a blood pressure monitoring kit or whatever the proper name is. Does anyone know what brand, type, is most recommended and is good quality, Thanks.

I have had it for about 4 or 5 years and have not had any problems with it. I checked it at the doctor's office last fall and it was exactly with theirs. Guest guest
I have an AnD Blood pressure cuff. It is made by A and D Engineering. I bought it at my neighborhood Sav-On Drug Store, and, if I remember correctly, it was on sale for around $49.00. It is the kind that auto inflates. All you do is put on the cuff and push the button. When I went through the Hypertension Clinic at my HMO, they used the same cuff. I like it because you don't have to pump it up and don't have to have a stethoscope to listen for the reading. It has a digital readout that give the Systolic, Diastolic and the pulse and automatically turns off if you don't turn it off in five minutes. I keep a log of my readings and average them out for each month to look for trends and whether my bp medication is working. Currently, I averaged 120/75 for the month of March. I take it in with me a couple of times a year and compare it with the cuff at my doctors or the Hypertension Clinic. Erwin
