If you are having complications of cirrhosis, it is best to lower meat protein altogether. But for those on the fence and dealing with diabetes or NASH it may be important to know that processed foods may be harmful as well. This article doesn't really go into detail other than let you know. The trans fats in these foods usually end up in the liver and cause havoc in cholesterol production.
