Now, most of you are probably aware of the risks of processed meats. If you are

having complications of cirrhosis, it is best to lower meat protein altogether.

But for those on the fence and dealing with diabetes or NASH it may be important

to know that processed foods may be harmful as well. This article doesn't

really go into detail other than let you know. The trans fats in these foods

usually end up in the liver and cause havoc in cholesterol production. Which may

be a reason why this article attributes it to heart disease.
