Guest guest
I am afraid that this promotion of an illegal drugs offends me in a deeply personal sense. I have lost my son and this path of loss leads directly back to the smoking of pot. I know all the damage it can effect on the body. For you older ones maybe, genetics and your hormones - not to mention your brains - are no longer of interest. You may however, spare a thought for the youth on the list or in your homes who ARE young, who DO have a future to build, jobs to hold down, maybe one day even wish to have a child. To continue promoting the use of a substance long term, that has scientifically been proven to perhaps ever prohibit carrying a child, that is if the child COULD ever be conceived because of damage in the first place, is nothing more than irresponsible. For those that would be predisposed to addiction, harder drugs, once dope loses it's effect, is the next step and the beginning of the end. Is this what you want for the kids in your families! Plus those of you who do *indulge*..............no wonder you have short term memory loss, one of the big side effects of this noxious weed the damage it does to the neurological circuits in your brain so between dope and RSD will it be `Hello, the porch lights are on but nobody is home!'. Also many of you have teenage children. Before you allow them to become *addicted* to this substance along with you, search your souls to see whether you would like grandchildren one day who are strong and healthy and genetically sound mentally AND physically or have grandchildren who are not. It has been found without a shadow of doubt that at least 95% of children who suffer from ADD or who have *learning disorders* have been exposed in utero or as infants to this drug. It is really that simple I am afraid. As for those who actively promote it's legalization, this is a self indulgent, short-sighted. irresponsible and permissive justification to enable their own use of it publicly and legally, dismissing as regardless, the scientifically proven seriously detrimental effects and results that come from using. Those that actively promote it's legalisation also actively use it, is a self-serving interest that motivates them, NOT the thought of sparing any person suffering some relief. Surely I am not a lone voice here, there must be more of people like me on this list. I vote against this being a subject for open discussion. It is irresponsible. Margot rsd Hey and All I think there are more here than are willing to admit about the pot.But I will admit to smoking it on occasions, as a matter of fact took afew hits last night because I was out of muscle relaxers and don't havethe money to refill them. Luckly the other stuff I don't have to payfor.......hee hee.....won't tell how come. and no I am not beingbad.... Anyway yesterday I read it was great for Restless Leg Syndromeso I thought well better than jerking all night. Now I am out of the closet
