Guest guest
Thanks for all the suggestions... My, eh-hem, " anal " husband decided HE wants to make something. I told him " Go ahead, but you get no help from me " . We have compromised. He's going to " buy " 7-layer dip...and " make " mini quesedillas. We'll see what happens. Guest guest
Hey Terrie! How have you been? It seems like months since I've been home(here)! I have missed you all! I have been really sick, had thrombosis on my (butt)shhhhh!!!! Went to my ob-gyn, had ultrasound, have 10 ovarian cysts this time, from the clomid. 5 on the left and 5 on the right, that was last week, I went for a follow up this past Tues. and had another ultrasound and now I have 5 left or at least that's what I had on Tues. I had 1 left on left side and 4 on the right. My doc said that's what caused the thrombosis on my butt...shhhhhh! My ovaries were very enlarged and all those cysts crowded everything up in there! She said there is no need to worry about the cysts though, they are side effect from clomid, they are only fluid filled and they disolve on their own and cause no permanent problems but they sure hurt like hell! On top of this I had to go and get this stupid virus, I was really sick! AF was about 4 days late again but finally showed up. I guess with the prog. supp. AF will probably always be delayed. So for this go'round I'm back in the game with the rest of ya! I will need to start testing for ovulation around Wed. of next week and then as soon as I get my positive on my stick me and " the honey " will have to to visit Dr. L. for my 2nd insemination. I wasn't sure if I was gonna go do this again but I can't give up. I think I'll try it a few more times and see what happens. Wish me luck and pray real hard for me. I heard one time that if you want something really bad if you prayed and had a support group of friends, family, etc., to pray along with you that you would get what you ask for, so let's all say prayers each night for each other, all of us still ttc as well as prayers for those who are " packing " now, like , Rhonda, and Jana(you are really packing! and all others who are expecting. Maybe this will do some good, we'll see! Let me know what's going on with you now. Terrie, I know you had your tr about a yr ago, I was just curious what all you've been through as far as tests, meds, etc. Also, any advice on how you keep your faith alive after a year with no sucess, it will be a year for me next month and I'm starting to get nervous, wondering if it will ever happen. What do you do? Well, gotta move on, trying to catch up on everything. I love All You Guys! oops! Gals! Maangel1910@... P.S. Did I thank you yet for my lovely Christmas Card??? You are so sweet! I love you to death!!!!

Guest guest
Send some of that heat this way, willya? It is in the low teens here this morning! And with the windchill it is in the low tens!!! I think even got a bunch of snow (the weather maps here go up to where she is so I usually know what's going on there as well) I didn't do a turkey, instead I did a 7 lb roaster. And I believe it was the BEST chicken I've ever done!! I just seasoned it a bit and roasted it in one of those covered roaster thingys. It was yummy! Then I made sausage stuffing, starting with a whole loaf of 12 grain bread, cut and dried in a slow oven. And yams, with a bit of orange juice and brown sugar, and of course gravy, giblet gravy even!!! And the rest of the stuffing and gravy just got inhaled for breakfast by the guys, I got to smell it LOL!!! I know what there are a lot more things one "should" make for Thanksgiving but I didn't want to get so tired I couldn't eat! And there was ample food. There are some yams lefy and a bit of chicken and no more leftovers!!! (Oh yes of COURSE I'm making soup!!) We had a very nice day, Mommy cooking, the guys watching the parades and stuff...good food...Lots to give Thanks for! What did everyone else do? Peace & Blessings,~*~Akiba~*~ Re: Thanksgiving We're all glad you are here Akiba. You always bring life and color to our group! How did your Thanksgiving go? Mine was very warm. It was 80 here in the Arizona Sonoran Desert yesterday but inside the house, with the oven going, it was much hotter. The AC unit decided (again) not to work and it was 90+ inside. I retreated to my bedroom to lay down in front of the fan. It's always cooler in my room because there's no carpet in there. The tile keeps it much cooler and I was certainly thankful for that yesterday. Like most MSers I just can't take the heat. This morning my joints are hurting and I'm all stiffened up from being so hot yesterday. But the food was wonderful and the leftovers are calling to me from the refrigerator right now. I can hear them singing their siren-song to me "Sharon....SHAron.... SHARON" It goes kinda like that... LOL A very pretty song, indeed. hugs to all))) Sharon Akiba wrote: Hello to All my MS family!!! Guest guest
Akiba Have I ever told you how great I think you are. Its amazing that we can all strike up such rich friendships with people we have never met personally but feel connected to through our hearts. The way it all turns out sometimes floors me. Giving thanks should be something that just happens through all the blessings we are given in our lives. I can't speak for everyone, but all of us up here in NY sure do love ya and we are THANKFUL for you in our lives. Akiba wrote: Send some of that heat this way, willya? Guest guest
Challis ~ -15 degrees ?????!!!!! Holy moly, that's what I call cold! We broke our own record here in San just day before yesterday - 90 degrees! We're all still wearing shorts! It was beautiful here for Thanksgiving- the following night, San had it's lighting of the Riverwalk downtown, so we went. There were 24 river barges lit up & all of the trees and foliage were lit too, and it was just such a gorgeous sight. There were throngs of people and families everywhere & the whole mood was very festive. It was alot of walking for me, but exercise is a good thing I keep telling myself...thanks for sharing your day with the rest of us - I just wanted to share mine with you all, too. I hope you're doing well. debbie>> Hi Akiba,> > Sounds like a nice feast and a big kudos to you for not going overboard and > overdoing! > > My BIL and his family made it up just before Noon on Wednesday and left about > Noon on Saturday.
