Good afternoon. Please forgive the lateness of this alert.

The Florida Developmental Disabilities Council requests your support of Senate Bill 2550, by Senator Wise, otherwise known as Assistive Technology Device/Services, is well worth your support.

The bill, which is being heard this afternoon (April 25th) starting at 3:15 pm in the Commerce and Consumer Services Committee, requires interagency agreements to ensure that assistive technology devices remain with a young person with disabilities as he or she makes certain transitions.

Please contact the committee members and urge them to pass these good bills; their names are hyperlinked to their home pages, where you can find their email addresses and their phone numbers are included for your convenience.
