Guest guest
We spent the day at The Cleveland Clinic..Ed had an ultrasound,EGD and later a visit with his hepatic specialist. It went great !!....although his MELD is still 10,he had just a few diminutive varices(that's how he stated it on the report!) his gastropathy is now mild...no signs of recent bleeding and the ultrasound showed no nodules on the liver. It was a great visit!! He goes back for a check-up and ultrasound in 6 months and another EGD in 1 year. Still we live each day as it comes...knowing how fast things can go bad! But we are happy for this report!! Remember me telling you that I had burst a blood vessel?...well, I actually ruptured my bicep....took my orthopedic doc to diagnose it---10 days after it happened.(luckily I went to see him about my pending knee scope!) So my arm is still in a sling for another week and am told it will take months to heal. Bummer! It's always something!! But today is good, good, good!!! Love,Jill We don't remember days, we remember moments. Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
