Do you mix those with milk or just water? Have you tried any other flavors? I HAVE ONLY TRIED THE VANILLA. I MIX IT WITH 4 OZ OF 2% MILK AND 4 OZ OF WATER. THAT BALNACES OUT MY PROTEIN AND CARBS. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. I NEVER SEEM TO TIRE OF THE TASTE. THE CONSISTENCY IS KIND OF THICK. THAT MAKES IT TASTE MORE 'MILK-SHAKEY' TO ME. And does anyone know if there is any downside to men consuming an occasional soy protein shake? Andy DON'T KNOW ANYTHNG ABOUT THAT. Guest guest
Sorry to hear about the snow. It's colder here in MO today (only 37F), but no snow yet. Warmer tomorrow though so it should be coming your way soon! I have some questions about the SpiruTein Shake. Do you mix those with milk or just water? Have you tried any other flavors? Done at 10:00 p.m. Gym closes at 11:00 pm. Plan is to hit the gym tonight at 10:15. Legs usually take me 40 mins. It CAN be done. > > Kelley > C6W11D3
Guest guest
Thanks for the recommendations! Andy > Andy: > > I know your questions about SpiruTein shakes were directed to Kelley, but let me chime in... I drink my vanilla shake with only water and ice. As for other flavors, well I decided to be bold and ordered the banana strawberry powder a few weeks ago, and let me tell you how awful THAT tasted! I think I have a pretty good tolerance for food, but that took the prize. I poured out the shake I had mixed and then tossed the powder. Now that had to have been pretty nasty for me to waste it all like that. I ordered the smaller can thank goodness! Anyway, there's my two cents! : ) > > Anne

You got that. Cruel, cruel sense of humor. :-% But...because the snow was so bad (it did not stop coming down all day) my evening class was cancelled. So....I got to leave early....got to the gym early (at 6:45 p....that's another story) and got home with enough energy to surprise my husband by shoveling a huge portion of our longgggg drives way. (More cardio points!) Then cooked some excellent Sloppy Joe's from the EFL book. They were sooo good. About the gym... There is an upcoming body building show scheduled for April 3rd here in Cleveland. I mean to tell you that gym was packed. I've never seen so many pretty, tanned boys there ever. Not to mention the 'mac truck' bodies. One huge guy was working out in a lepard skin pattened loose top and pants. Geezzzz. Many had there trainers going around with them. I couldn't get on the leg press at all. But because I'm the flexible person that I am, [grin] I just changed my routine around (Seated leg extensions and squats) and did my 'bidnus' Anyway....This (snow) too shall pass.
