It has been 2 years and almost 4 months since my liver transplant. I went to my

hepatologist today and he said my liver is doing great! The Hep C has been gone

for six months since treatment so I have a really good chance that it won't ever

come back. Everything looks really good, except my platelet count is falling for

some unknown reason. They'll be keeping an eye on that. Also, I had blood in my

urine, so I will be doing another urinalysis. I was told I probably just have a

UTI although I don't have any symptoms. I still have to have labs done every

month, but I don't have to see my hepatologist again for a year!

I hope everyone is doing well.

Thanks, Diane. I'm glad I can be encouraging for others. My hepatologist said

I am one of his best transplant patients. That was so good to hear.
