Guest guest
Hi ,We were in the same boat for a lot. The best treatment that is VERY effective is getting your son into OT (Occupational Therapy) and PT (Physical Therapy). You will be amazed at the difference. My son was hypotonic and after six months of therapy he was able to walk up steps. Hi All, My some is taking many supplements, enzymes, amino acids, probiotics, CLO, etc. He is on SCD diet. I have posted before that he has not been growing. We finally saw a doctor recently (Dr. Harum in NC) that we think can help figure out his growth issues. But beyond just growth he also has very poor muscle tone and is relatively week for a 2.5yr old. He still cannot really step up a step without help. I have read latent virus issues can cause this. He is taking Valtrex with no apparent gains. Has anyone else been successful treating weakness and poor muscle tone? If so, how did you do it? Thanks,
Guest guest
Chiming in with my 2 cents. We did 80 rounds of Hard HBOT the past year. Our daugther, age 14, had chronic constipation issues from birth! She is NOW pooping everyday. SHe is also in her fourth month of LDN. SHe takes 2 different probiotics. I also have had her on a prescription anti fungal since June of last year. There is NO doubt in my mind that HBOT helped her. She was born with low muscle tone, macrocephaly, & lethargy. She has grown more than 2 inches since last summer (her first round of 40 dives)! We are already planning another round of 40 this coming summer. It has only been this past week that she is pooping everyday and more than once a day now! THANK GOD & Biomedical! Shanna

Guest guest
Hi Christy,During our first appointment Dr Harum said she thought she would be able to help our son grow but she didn't speculate how or what might be going on. She ordered a bunch of tests and we will go over all of the test results next month with her. I will let you know what she says and if she has any ideas on how to help him grow.Subject: Re: Very poor muscle tone. To: mb12 valtrex Date: Tuesday, February 24, 2009, 8:47 PM I'm sure it has to do with his malabsorption/ digestive gut issues that he can't absorb foods thereby not gain wt or grow in height....i just want to know what Dr. HArum thought she could do for this, ya know? From: Virginia <virginiasmith@ rogers.com>To: mb12 valtrex@ yahoogroups. comSent: Tuesday, February 24, 2009 2:46:49 PMSubject: Re: Very poor muscle tone. Guest guest
Thanks so much. I cut and pasted that into my notes. We have just started so we are clearly not up to LDM yet. We just did our first VitA last weekend. I dont even know what EFA or monolaurin is either but I guess I will get to know those too at some point. > > LDM-100 is an Herbal Anti-Viral, Anti-Fungal, Anti-Bacterial. > (Lomatium dissectum) by Barlow Herbals www.barlowherbal.com > It's an Organic herb used by Native Americans for 100+ years (see > Barlow Herbal website for more really good info on the herb/the > Recap below has info on the herb w/our ASD kids). > > There is an LDM-100 Recap in the group Files with information from > our Washington ASD recovery group who spear-headed it's use with our > herbalist (MS in herbology) & our ASD docs.
