Just to irritate you a little more? Of course that wouldn't be very smart, now would it? But YAY for heat & cooking in a kitchen! The reason stated: He got a speeding ticket. Speeding to where? I don't know, but definitely NOT HERE! LOL Grace
Guest guest
BJ - maybe so. The way you describe it, it sounds right. He goes days and days of not showing up here. He is at his sudden overflow of " other jobs " . One of the only prerequisites to getting my contract was - - thou shalt have no other jobs until this is completed. At the ime - I thought this would take a couple of months, so I didn't think that was impossible. But I never expected him to be " other job free " for 7 months, so I haven't said much about his having other jobs. Maybe it IS the money................ never thought of that! Thanks, BJ!! We do have a licensing board, I'm sure. I wouldn't know anything about it though. I know this guy is licensed, and that is considered one of the best in the area.... talent-wise. Nobody ever said anything about him being quick. And he's not. LOL Grace Re: I just freaked out - totally OT > Grace, > It sounds as if your contractor is having a bit of a cash flow problem . . .. > in other words, he's spent the money you've given him already . . . and he's > having to complete other jobs here and there to keep the money coming in to > pay his subcontractors . . . perhaps he owes them money, too, and that's why > they are not so eager to do any more work for him??? > > Doesn't your state have a licensing board for contractors or something??? > > -BJ > > >
