Guest guest
DeeDee, That is a wonderful idea, I've not heard that one before. Although I " m happy to say, that tonight, she screamed as usual at the start and while we did the bath routine, but during the " sprinkling time " we have after with a garden type watering can, she calmed down, laughed and even splashed like the ol' days. We had a little 5 yr old girl visiting who sang to her and showed her to splash the whole time, so I let her play extra long to try and ingrain it in her head again that " THIS IS FUN! " . Let's hope she remembers next time. I am going to begin the next bath with the sprinkle time and go easy on the bath stuff, just being in the water will get some of the dirt off, right??? Thanks, Mom to Kennedy 22 mos old CHARGEr, 10, 8, and wife to Graeme New Brunswick, Canada Visit the " Weir homepage " at: http://www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Palms/5716 ICQ #1426476 (no subject) From: JDDUngetheim@... , We haven't had that problem but here's a thought. Try putting Kennedy in the tub without any water in it. Give her some fun toys and just let her play for a while. When she feels safe with that, put just a little tiny bit of water it. Perhaps you could let her poor some water in from a bucket or a measuring cup. Then keep increasing it little by little. If she can hear music, you may want to play some soothing music to help calm her down. If she won't get in the dry tub, maybe she could sit on the bathroom floor, while her brother takes a bath at first. A new bath toy may help her as well. Good luck. Guest guest
Happy Birthday to Larry. Mine is Thursday. Going to be the ripe age of 36. I'm being positive, though. It's all uphill from here. Guest guest
A dentist told me that the toothpaste is not really important. Using a the teeth brush is enough. Also my son hates to brush his teeth. I think it is becuase of sound sensitivities.
