Guest guest
LOL! Before i started " really " understanding all of this, and i wasn't sleeping--even on every type of sleeping pill--(classic adrenal shut down)--I WISHED someone would drop an anvil or piano on my head. I'm a happy person. but 7 days of no sleep--well--that can do something to your psychology. The Heath Ledger thing really puts a knot in my stomach when i think of how many times i mixed in stuff just to sleep (nyquil mixed with ativan or benydryl mixed with ambien...) sick huh? Poor guy was probably suffering something very similar to burn out. but when you're desperate, you'll do anything to sleep ... i'm sleeping better now--not great, i still need w/a wee bit of klonpin .5 mg-- but i think because of all the vitamins (b, c and mag). i think even tho my cortisol today is low, i'm afraid it was probably off the charts low months ago. i notice too if i do too much during a day or if i drink a drink with " electrolytes " (like the other day i drank electrolyte water), it will keep m up all night. I'm assuming because the electrolyte water has way too much potassium for me! (stupid me) I can't wait to get started on isocort and meet with the ND on wed. and if i have to, i'll order cortef over seas... (tired of being wired--hey, it ain't what it's cracked up to be!) > >> > >> Check this one out, too: > >> http://www.umanitoba.ca/dnalab/med/adrp3.htm > >> > >> Sam > >> > >> ===== > >> > I was surfing around to find a less expensive place to buy > > Jeffries > >> > book (I only have one of his studies) and I came across 2 pages on > >> > this site: > >> > > >> > http://www.usdoctor.com/cortisol.htm > >> > http://www.usdoctor.com/insomnia.htm > >> > > >> > the aha! for me was: > >> > > >> > 1.
