i am going the oppisite direction. i take fentynal patches for pain

now, but want something else. for me it does very little for my

pain. currently, i use a 50mg/hour patch.

i tried 75 on my own to no awail.

the patch is supposed to last 3 days. it doesn't, at

least for me. my pshchologist says she has heard that from many

others too. the 3rd day is hell. then it takes most of the first

day with a new one to get me going. the 2nd day is the only good

day.

it is different from oral meds for sure. i am going friday to my

doc. i am going to request some sort of oral med. if that doesn't

help, my only choice left is getting an implant thing. i feel for

you, as i spend 90% of my day flat and on a couch. i want my life

back too. i will pray you get yours, but i would advise against the

patch.

I used to use the Fentanyl patch and it wouldn't work for 3 days on me, either.

Finally, the Dr split my dose, I was on 100 mcg/hour, so he split it to 2, 50

mcg/hour, put 1 on every day - so, day 1, put 1 on, day 2, put 1 on, day 3 take

1 off, put new one on, and so on. It worked that way so much better, more

" even " coverage.
