My advice about telling people about your sickness, is to mention you have a cronic health problem but NEVER get specfic (Never tell your employer you may need a transplant). I was fired from my job of 12 years, 2 weeks after I told my employer. The EEOC was a joke, I fooled with them for over two years and finally settled with my companies lawyers myself. I went to a local liver presentation where someone from the state did a presentation on this topic, his advice basicly was that it is a very bad idea to tell your employer. He also said that the state of Texas was about the only employer he knew of which would keep you, if they knew, (of coarse there are lots of other). Also, Take your Actigall or urso.
