It was fritzing a couple of days ago too. Someone sent in an excellent description of Schedule 2 etc. medications and faxing/pick up rules. I went to clear it and it disappeared into the ether. I did not know who had sent it, so I couldn't email them to let her/him know it had vanished. So, whoever you were that sent that detailed message -- if you still have a copy in your sent folder, will you please resend it? -- Thanks Lyndi Moderator
Guest guest
Is this the message you lost? I sent it last week but wasn't sure whether or not it ever got posted. You may want to check the dosage of your Vicodin. Pure hydrocodone and dihydrocodeine or products which contain more than 15mg per dosage unit are Schedule II in the United States. This means they are illegal to sell without a DEA license and illegal to buy or possess without a license or prescription. Products which contain less than 15 mg hydrocodone per dosage unit are Schedule III in the United States. Almost all prescriptions hydrocodone is prescribed in Schedule III dose units (Vicodin), however, while most state laws are consistent with the federal scheduling system, they can and do vary from state to state. Schedule II drug prescriptions may only be refilled with a written prescription, Schedule III pharmaceuticals may be refilled using phoned prescription. Many states are changing their laws in order to try and get better control of the dispensing of these drugs due to the high instance of abuse. Unfortunately, those of us who really needs these drugs to control real pain are suffering the consequences of the abusers. Good luck, >Lyndi wrote: Yahoo, was fritzing a couple of days ago too.
