> I like the bad bubble bath theory myself and I feel that it has been

inadequately investigated. How many members of this list bathed in some bubbly

substance during their pregnancy or bathed in some bubbly substance and then

nursed their young child or, even worse, nursed their young child WHILE bathing

in a bubbly substance.

Shall I set up a poll?

Yikes! Another Flaw!

I never nursed her.

I tried, I really did, but

I had no support, and .......

I did nurse the second one,

but it was too late. I've

ruined her for life! (fake sob)

Geez, you guys!

Now I have to check all the bottles,

(and there are at least 20) for the

" never tested on animals " good

seal of approval. This is gonna

take all day. So forget scrubbing

the toilet.

Wait! I just realized she may have

drunk " bathroom water " once! You

know, the water that comes out of

the bathroom faucet? Accck!

ROTFLMAO !

It must be! Aislynn was hyperlexic

and Dad filled fire extinguishers with ABC

powder about the time she was conceived.

Hey, and maybe it was the vegetable beef

soup I used to eat when I was nauseated.

OMG!

That is very serious. Did you tell her doctors?

Well, Barb, I nursed all five for years and years (except Robbie who at two

only qualifies for having nursed for years, not years and years) and two of

them still have autism. In fact, I belong to a small list that has only

attachment parenting and the same religious faith as common denominators.

All those mothers nurse and there are at least six kids with autism (we are

talking under thirty members) and I rather think seven if we count a lurker

(but that might be on another similar list which ALSO has a high proportion

of ASD kids) and another is in the process of possibly being dx'ed. So our

question is, is it breastmilk or the religion? We were imagining the

headlines the other day.

As a La Leche League Leader I must state that it is....the bubble bath or

the shampoo or the bathroom water, either your kind or 's.

On still another list, a mom told me about a theory that breastmilk cures

autism. Uh. Well, I don't know what I fed Enrique for far more years than

I like to admit and what I am still feeding the five and a half year old

Putter but it ain't cured them yet so I guess it ain't breastmilk although

it appears to be.

So, don't worry about it, Barb!

Jacquie -

Ummmm. YOU are FINE? Yeah, Right....LOL - JUST KIDDING

Penny - who ALSO had a toxic-free pregnancy.
