Guest guest
I've been wondering almost the same thing. I just got ahold of some great mister bottles and I'm wondering how to make something that has a bit of a hair-spray effect to it as well as the scent. What is it that gives it that stiffness that holds hair in place and is it something that can be done with a fine mister or do I have to use a medium mister? I really like the fine www.NaturesApprentice.com hair mister I make a room spray from just alcohol, water and essential oils. My sister in law tells me she likes to spray this in her hair for the aroma. I'm thinking that I should be able to add something to this to make it better for her hair, but what? Any suggestions? I've never made anything for hair. Guest guest
Apologies for not cutting down the previous message. I am working off my laptop and sometimes just my hands laying in the wrong spot will create a command I don't desire, in this case it sent the message in mid sentence and before I could delete parts that needed to be cut away, which I normally always do. Sorry. www.NaturesApprentice.com
Guest guest
Hi, . I also make a similar type of spray and use it in my hair. Nothing works a room better than a trail of beautifully smelling hair! What exactly do you want to add to this? Are you looking for something for her hairtype specifically? I don't know anything about hair, so I'll be of no use here, but maybe if the hair folk had a few more clues......The only other thing I'll add is that I'll never forget my third year organic chem prof telling our class that most hair products are a waste of money....lol....that the only thing that could really help your hair was cysteine, and the only way to get that into your hair was to ingest it. He was an opinionated, but very interesting man. N Holowaty wrote: I'm thinking that I should be able to add something to this to make it better for her hair, but what? Guest guest
It is the GELLATIN solution that holds hair. Dr Saeed ch Logan wrote:I've been wondering almost the same thing. Guest guest
, I guess I am thinking something to condition the hair or act as a detangler. Just something that would be better for hair than the alcohol I have in the spray! But, as I said, having never made a hair product before I don't know where to start! Guest guest
Thanks, Dakota. Phenyl Trimethicone (Lotioncrafter 1550), which we also carry, really kicks up the shine in hair gloss products, too. We offer several formulas that ship with these silicone products that can be used to formulate hair serums and glossing sprays.
